Advertiser - A merchant or someone who pays money.

Product Feed - This is where the merchant makes available the list of products or services. They usually do this in an CSV file or XML feed.

Publisher - An affiliate, an American term.

Screen Scrape - This where the data is taken from a website. For example a price comparison site will check your website and then pull the information it needs about each product such as the name, brand, description, price, image and the url
